The Canadian Association of PNH Patients (PNHCA) is thrilled to announce the launch of its refreshed brand and redesigned website, created to better serve the evolving needs of people living with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and their families.

The new brand reflects authenticity and empathy – capturing the real experiences of the PNH community and creating a welcoming, approachable presence. The redesigned website offers streamlined access to trusted information and personalized support for families living with PNH across Canada and beyond.

Since founding PNHCA in 2009, our mission has been to make a difference in the lives of people living with PNH through advocacy, education, and support,” says Barry Katsof, Founder and President of PNHCA. “We are proud to introduce a modern, patient- focused website that helps families affected by PNH access the information they need to live their best quality of life.”

The new site features an intuitive user experience, easy navigation, and comprehensive resources to empower patients and caregivers throughout their journey. People living with PNH and their families can find educational materials, read about the experiences of others, and stay informed about the latest PNH news and treatments.

“With five therapies approved in Canada and even more in development, it has never been more important to raise awareness about PNH, so that patients are diagnosed sooner, get to the right specialist quickly, and can make informed decisions about their care and treatment,” adds Mr. Katsof.

Voices from the Community

“The PNHCA website is an invaluable resource for families navigating this rare disease,” says Dr. Christopher Patriquin, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinician Investigator at the University of Toronto. “It provides education and connection, helping people gain the understanding they need to meet the challenges of PNH.”

“Having streamlined access to resources has empowered me to take control of my journey,” shares Olivia Oliverio, PNH patient. “The PNHCA website helps me prepare for conversations with my specialists and stay up to date on local and global PNH news.”

This brand and website refresh marks the beginning of an exciting new era for PNHCA. Follow us on social media for upcoming initiatives and new projects.
